General Manager Rules and Code of Behavior

1. Roster and Recruiting Rules

1.1 - Rosters will meet a minimum of 40 members* in order to confirm a show. If an shows are run and you are discovered to have fewer than the established minimum, your roster will be warned. 2 consecutive offenses in the same season will result in your removal.

*Federations in the Regional Division are only required to have 30 members.

1.2 - You may recruit any member of the game who is not currently under contract by a roster. Initiating contact with a member under contract to another roster, or engaging in contact once the member has contacted you will both result in a warning on your roster.

1.3 - You may not recruit any member in TWG Main Chat or TWG Recruitment chat. Doing so will be an instant chat warning from the TWG Moderator staff. Bans will be handled as per section 3.2

1.4 - The General Manager is ultimately responsible for the actions of those on his roster. If those members assist you in recruiting and violate any recruiting rules such as recruiting in chat or poaching from another roster, then your roster will receive a warning. Exceptions may be granted on a case by case basis.

1.5 - You may have one thread open and active in the "Roster Recruitment" section of the forums. If you wish for a thread to be closed, please mark it as such in the thread title, or PM me on the forums with a link of the thread to be closed.

2. Show and Content Rules

2.1 - Shows must abide the content criteria set forth by TWG. That means that there is NO Swearing, NO Religious content, NO Political content, NO Graphic Violence in pictures or Videos, NO Sexual Content in Pictures or Videos, and NO Nudity in pictures or videos. Any violation of this will result in a warning against your roster, or in severe cases immediate removal from your position as a GM. If there is ever a question about content, please PM me. DO NOT have your roster members contact me directly.

2.2 - There will be no copyrighted or trademarked World Wrestling Entertainment images, logos, or talent likenesses used in videos or images in a show. This includes Pay Per View logos (current and past), Extreme Championship Wrestling and all affilated logos and images, World Championship Wrestling and all affiliated logos and images, World Wrestling Federation, and all affiliated logos and images, and all properties and talents of Florida Championship Wrestling. Violation of this will result in a warning against your roster, or in severe cases immediate removal from your position as a GM.

2.3 - Your shows will not contain any member in another roster. Exceptions may be granted in the case of tasteful use of the wrestler, and with written consent of the wrestler, and his or her current General Manager (if applicable). The wrestler may NOT be used as a primary participant in an official match. Violation of this will result in a warning against your roster.

2.4 - English is the official language of TWG. Therefore all show content will be in English. While a few set phrases, or a short line or two in another language will be acceptable, there will be no extended sections, or excessive segments of non-English in a show. This also applies to videos, and writing on images. Violation of this will result in a warning against your roster, or in severe cases immediate removal from your position as a GM.

2.5 - In the end, a roster is responsible for whatever is aired on a show, no matter the rules it may violate. Individuals will not be punished for any content posted. This means you should carefully read all submitted content, and be exceptionally careful who you allow to confirm content in your shows.

3. General Manager Behavior Rules

3.1 - You are considered to be TWG staff, and therefore all TWG rules are applicable to you. Violation of the TWG rules will result in your removal from your position as a GM. This applies to the TWG Rules posted in the Rules and help section (http://www.thewrestlinggame.com/aiuto.asp)

3.2 - You will be expected to follow the rules of chat, as well (http://www.thewrestlinggame.com/regolamenti/elenco-mod.asp). Violation of the chat rules will dealt with by the Chat moderators. Any ban received in chat will result in a warning against your roster. If your roster receives 3 warnings, the roster will be dissolved, and the GM removed. Exceptions to this are noted above.

3.3 - Trying to manipulate votes in such a fashion as requesting others to vote highly for your show is unacceptable, and considered cheating. It is also considered cheating to organize an exchange of votes for a return of the same. If discovered, you will be removed at the end of the season, no questions asked.

3.4 - Common sense rule. If you are unsure as to whether something you want to do is against the rules, DON'T DO IT. If you have to ask, it's probably behavior that's questionable to begin with. Just because a situation isn't expressly stated here does NOT mean it is OK to do it, and that you can not be punished for it. Please let your intelligence prevail.
